In this paper, a modified direct current potential drop (DCPD) method for real-time measurement of the length, inclination and position cracks is presented. Based on proposed configuration, it possible to process data acquired by continuously measuring change in electrical resistance (potential drop) between specific points specimen real time correlate them with propagation crack thus identifying its crucial characteristics. Furthermore, many aspects that affect electromagnetic field inside materials have been identified. way influence unwanted factors can be significantly reduced which has led better understanding relation implemented voltage values fracture itself.
